Our seafront hotel in the vibrant resort of Brighton provides the ideal base from which to explore the treasures of Sussex. Meander through The Lanes with its exciting mix of independent shops, visit local gardens and museums and take a ride on the famous Bluebell Railway before exploring the beautiful Sussex Coast.

Day 1 Travel to Brighton with a recommended stop in Oxford or Winchester.
Day 2 This morning a local guide will lead the group on an introductory tour of Brighton offering fascinating cultural and historical insights into this splendid city. This afternoon is free to explore the vast variety of attractions in Brighton. The hotel is within walking distance of The Lanes, home to traditional shops, pubs and elegant arcades. The famous Brighton Pier is also near to the hotel, as is the Royal Pavilion. Alternatively, new to the Brighton sea front is the British Airways i360. Designed by the creators of the London Eye this new attraction gently ascends passengers up to 450 feet and can be included at an additional cost.
Day 3 Journey to Sheffield Park this morning for a visit to this stunning National Trust property. Originally designed by Capability Brown, the garden's centre piece is 4 spectacular lakes. Afterwards, enjoy a journey on the Bluebell Railway, which begins at Sheffield Park Station and transports passengers through the glorious Sussex countryside.
Day 4 The Amberley Museum and Heritage Centre provides this morning's fascinating excursion. The museum is home to traditional craftspeople such as potter and blacksmith and is dedicated to the industrial heritage of the south east. The 36 acre site is set in the heart of the South Downs National Park and can be explored using the narrow-gauge railway or vintage bus. After lunch return to Brighton via your preferred route perhaps visiting, Worthing, Littlehampton or Shoreham by Sea.
Day 5 Homeward journey.
