The Royal Botanic
Gardens at Kew
Gardens of London
The city is a treasure trove of beautiful gardens, ranging from grand, royal estates to intimate spaces, lovingly tended by volunteers. Many have shops where you can buy seeds and gardening equipment to help turn your home garden into a little corner of London. Many of London's most famous gardens are on a grand scale and are former private estates designed to dazzle. The Museum of Gardening at Lambeth Palace, the Royal Botanic Garden at Kew, Hampton Court Palace, Chelsea Physic Garden and Fenton House & Garden (NT) are some of London's best known gardens.
