In the Footsteps of St Paul
The Apostle Saint Paul travelled extensively, preaching the Holy Gospel and teaching Jesus' mission. This tour incorporates some of the route that Saint Paul followed in Greece and visits many of the places he did. It constitutes an ideal combination of pilgrimage and sightseeing in some of the most beautiful and historically important places in Greece.

Day 1 Fly from the UK to Athens and transfer to the hotel
Day 2 Travel to Corinth, Saint Paul's headquarters for his mission to the west, for a guided tour including the market place and the Temple of Apollo. Gain an insight into the richness and importance of Corinth, in ancient times, before continuing to the Ancient Port of Cehries.
Day 3 Return to Athens for a guided tour of the Byzantine and Christian Museum with its beautiful and extensive collection of icons, wall paintings and religious items. Leave Athens for Kalabaka dominated by the fascinating Metéora Monasteries.
Day 4 Explore fascinating Metéora's sandstone peaks where monks settled from the 11th century onwards. UNESCO World Heritage listed Metéora is one of the largest and most important complexes of Greek Orthodox monasteries and one of the most awe inspiring sites in Greece.
Day 5 A full day in Athens visiting the architectural masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens contained within the Acropolis complex and the Areopagus where Saint Paul preached. He would also have seen the excellently preserved theatre of Herodes Atticus and the Greek marketplace. There's time to visit the Acropolis Museum and the Plaka a historical neighbourhood with labyrinthine streets and Neoclassical architecture.
Day 6 A cruise from Athens to the boat filled harbour of Hydra, a unique island without cars, just marble-cobbled lanes. Next is Poros, a beautiful island with a relaxing atmosphere. Sail on to Aegina an island well-known for its history and art with an optional tour to the Temple of Afea before returning to Athens.
Day 7 Transfer to Athens airport for the return flight to the UK.
