Schönbrunn Palace

Vienna's old town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, reflecting in its splendid architecture its historic status as the capital of the Holy Roman and Austro-Hungarian Empires. During the 18th and 19th centuries, Vienna was the music capital of the world and the home of many famous composers, including Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven and Brahms. There are numerous museums and art galleries, including the Kunsthistorisches Museum (Museum of Art History) as well as many coffee houses which allow visitors to relax over cream topped pastries and watch the world go by.
