Day 1 Channel crossing and overnight near Orleans.
Day 2 Through the French countryside and past Limoges to arrive at Le Bugue for a 5 night stay.
Day 3 A day to relax and unwind in Le Bugue, enjoy the hotel’s facilities and explore the charming village.
Day 4 Full day along the Dordogne to La Roque-Gageac, where we suggest a cruise in a traditional barge. Continue to the medieval hilltop villager of Domme to enjoy wonderful views across the region.
Day 5 Morning in Sarlat la Canéda. In the afternoon on to Rocamadour, a town built on narrow ledges above a sheer cliff.
Day 6 Travel west, along the Dordogne, to visit Bergerac, where the old town slopes down to the river. The whole region is famous for its fine wines and a tasting at nearby Monbazillac can be arranged on request.
Day 7 Depart Le Bugue. Overnight in the Paris area.
Day 8 Channel crossing and home.
