Day 1 Travel to the hotel in mid Wales.
Day 2 Today's excursion begins across the border in Leominster, where the guide will be met for a tour of the pretty Black & White Villages including medieval Pembridge and Weobley, the 'Jewel in the Crown' of the trail.
Day 3 A mostly scenic day today. First stop is the famous book town of Hay-on-Wye, nestled at the top of the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park. On then to Symonds Yat for an enjoyable cruise on the River Wye through this renowned beauty spot in the Wye Valley, followed by a break at the Old Court Hotel for tea/coffee and biscuits. To make this a circular tour, return to the hotel passing Abergavenny.
Day 4 Excursion through the Cambrian Mountains with a scenic drive around the Elan Dams, accompanied by a Ranger. Time at leisure at the centre before continuing for free time in the seaside resort of Aberystwyth. Board the Vale of Rheidol Steam Railway for the hour long journey to Devil’s Bridge before returning to the hotel.
Day 5 Homeward journey.
