Day 1 Following a Channel crossing to Calais travel along the French coast to Normandy. Embarkation is in the early evening in Honfleur.
Day 2 Enjoy the morning in Honfleur or take an excursion to nearby Pont l'Evêque. In the afternoon continue to stylish Deauville, one of the most prestigious coastal resorts in France. A chateau and calvados visit can be arranged.
Day 3 Today visit Rouen. See the cathedral, historic old town and the 'Place du Vieux Marché' where Joan of Arc was burned at the stake. Ship is likely to sail overnight this evening.
Day 4 Continue through Normandy towards Paris. A stop is made near Giverny with the opportunity to visit Monet’s home of 43 years and gardens, made famous by his paintings. After re-joining the ship continue to Paris.
Day 5 Full day to explore Paris independently or join one of the optional excursions. Cruise to Melun late afternoon.
Day 6 The morning is free to explore the magnificent Fontainebleu, the residence of 34 kings and 2 emperors across its 800 year history. Cruise back to Paris. Gala dinner on board this evening.
Day 7 Disembark after breakfast, to Calais and the Channel crossing home.
