Day 1 Channel crossing to Calais. Continue along the coast, past Dunkerque and Veurne, before travelling south past Ypres to Mouscron for an overnight stay.
Day 2 Travel to the medieval Hospital of our Lady of the Rose for a guided tour and an amazing insight into the history of medicine at one of Europe's oldest hospitals. Continue to Durbuy for a 6 night stay.
Day 3 A morning journey on the Three Valleys Steam Railway before time for lunch and the opportunity to visit The House of Monsieur Sax. In the afternoon we cruise the River Meuse from Dinant to Freÿr.
Day 4 A morning visit to Durbuy with its stone houses and cobbled streets; clifftop views over the town and Ourthe River Valley; the half-timbered Halle au Blé; and nearby, Confiturerie Saint-Amour produces artisan jams. The afternoon visit is to La Roche-en-Ardenne, a pretty historic town with a ruined castle; picturesque bridges; cobblestone streets and cliff faces on the banks of the River Ourthe.
Day 5 Today focuses in the Battle of Waterloo with a morning visit to Memorial 1815 Museum, Panorama and Lion Mount. After time for lunch in Waterloo town visit the Wellington Museum and Hougoumont Farm.
Day 6 Depart the hotel and return to the UK with an afternoon short Channel crossing.
