Day 1 Channel crossing to Calais and then on to the hotel in Chamouille.

Day 2 Travel to the medieval hill top town of Laon for a guided tour of the town and its Gothic cathedral. Continue to Caverne du Dragon, the Chemin des Dames museum where First World War soldiers fought for control of an underground world.

Day 3 Morning visit to the impressive 14th century Château de Pierrefonds, fully rebuilt by the order of Napoleon III in the 19th century. In the afternoon visit a Champagne producer for a tour and tasting.

Day 4 Depart Chamouille for Calais and the return Channel crossing.
