Day 4 Full day excursion to the beautiful city of Passau. Known as the ‘Three Rivers City’ because the Danube, Inn and Ilz Rivers meet here, it has a stunning setting. Renowned for impressive architecture, there are squares, narrow lanes and bridges to explore, as well as the hillside Veste Oberhaus castle and St Stephan's Cathedral. A pleasure cruise of the three rivers is included.

Day 5 A scenic day travelling through Bavaria and across the border into the Czech Republic. Continue on to the picturesque town of Ceský Krumlov. Day 6 Take a short journey to Neuschönau and into the Bavarian National Park. Here enjoy a guided walking tour of the forest along an accessible walkway. For those who wish, there is a 44 meter high observation tower for a magnificent panorama. Spend the afternoon in the medieval city of Regensburg. Day 7 Leave Hohenau and travel across Germany and stop for dinner and an overnight stay near Metz.
