Day 1 Fly from the UK to Pisa, where you will be met by your English speaking guide, and transferred to your hotel. This evening dinner is at a local restaurant.
Day 2 Breakfast is followed by a guided walking tour of the beautiful city of Florence, visiting the Duomo, the cathedral church noted for its dome, designed by Filippo Brunelleschi, and for its bell-tower, designed by Giotto. Enjoy the Boboli Gardens and the Palazzo Pitti, now one of Florence's most important art galleries.
Day 3 Today is yours at leisure. Perhaps visit the Uffizi Gallery, see Michelangelo's "David", or explore the Medieval shops that line the Ponte Vecchio. Alternatively, while away some time over a glass of Chianti in one of the shady squares.
Day 4 After breakfast, visit Lucca, the provincial capital whose wealth and power began with the medieval silk trade and then later the production of olive oil. The town is famous for its intact Renaissance-era city walls and for being the birthplace of Giacomo Puccini.
Day 5 After breakfast visit Siena for a full day guided tour. Established as a market place in the thirteenth century, the great central square, the Campo, is the heart of the city, and is surrounded by medieval alleyways. Highlights include the lovely frescoes of Museo Civico, and the Museo dell'Opera del Duomo. This evening dinner is in a local restaurant.
Day 6 After breakfast, visit Pisa and its leaning tower, before continuing to the airport for your flight to the UK.
