Day 1 Short Channel crossing. Arrive in Breukelen for a 3 night stay.
Day 2 A full day excursion to the 17th century Palace of Het Loo, the largest estate in Holland. Reopened after an extensive refurbishment, a guided tour of the Palace is included. Free time after to explore the magnificent gardens as well as Stables Square with its Coach House exhibiting Royal carriages. Spend the afternoon in the traditional town of Apeldoorn and discover the many squares, shops and cafés the city has to offer.
Day 3 A morning visit to Royal Delft Pottery, the last remaining maker in the region. The informative museum charts over 350 years of history of porcelain production on the site. Make the short transfer to the historic city centre for free time to discover the royal history of the Nieuwe Kerk, the last resting place of almost all the Royal House of Orange-Nassau. Continue for an afternoon visit to The Hague, home to the Dutch Parliament and the Royal Family. This elegant city boasts world class galleries and museums, grand architecture and a vibrant café culture.
Day 4 Travel through Belgium and on to Calais for the short Channel crossing to Dover and home.
