Gdansk and the Baltic Coastline

The Baltic Coast of Poland is home to glorious beaches, traditional fishing villages and the sister cities of Gdansk, Gdynia and Sopot. This 'Tri-City' area has a long and vibrant history right up to the modern day when it was the birthplace of the Solidarity Movement. This tour is based in the wonderful Hanseatic city of Gdansk, and takes in the major sights of the region including the impressive Malbork Castle and Fortress.

Historic Gdansk • Malbork Castle • Wroclaw

Day 1 Short Channel crossing. Overnight in Belgium.

Day 2 Continue into Germany and travel east to the overnight stay near Madgeburg.

Day 3 Today continue in to Poland and on to Wroclaw, one of Poland's most beautiful cities, for a 2 night stay.

Day 4 A full day to explore Wroclaw. See the impressive gothic cathedral and old town squares.

Day 5 Travel northwards to Gdansk, making a stop at the colourful city of Poznan enroute. Arrive at the hotel for a 4 night stay.

Day 6 Start the day with an included guided walking tour of the historic city of Gdansk. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore. There are no shortage of historic sites in this 1000 year old city and it is possible to take a boat trip to Westerplatte, where the first shots of WWII were fired.

Day 7 An excursion through the Pomeranian countryside to visit the wonderful Teutonic Knights castle at Malbork, one of Poland's greatest historic attractions.

Day 8 A scenic excursion to Hel, which is located at the end of the extraordinary Hel Peninsula. Return making a stop in Sopot en-route.

Day 9 Leave Poland for Germany to the overnight stay in the Berlin area.

Day 10 Depart Berlin and the overnight stay in the north west of Germany.

Day 11 Short Channel crossing to Dover and home.
