Day 1 Channel crossing. Overnight in Belgium.
Day 2 Cross into Germany and travel east for dinner and an overnight stay near Magdeburg.
Day 3 Cross into Poland and on to Wroclaw, one of Poland's most beautiful cities, for a 2 night stay.
Day 4 A full day to explore Wroclaw. See the impressive gothic cathedral and old town squares.
Day 5 Travel to Zakopane. En-route visit Auschwitz. This harrowing pilgrimage includes a guided tour of the concentration camp and an insight into the atrocities that took place here during World War II. Arrive in Zakopane early evening for a 4 night stay.
Day 6 A day at leisure in Zakopane. Explore the shops and market or take a cable car or railway trip into the mountains.
Day 7 Dunajec Valley and Tatra Mountains excursion. During the excursion pass Chocholow, the 15th Century church at Debno and the Dunajec River. A guide is recommended (approx. £145).
Day 8 A full day to Kraków, the former Polish capital and a renowned city of culture. The city has many beautiful buildings, pavement cafés and squares.
Day 9 Depart Poland, cross into Germany and stop overnight in the Dresden area.
Day 10 Through Germany and overnight in Belgium.
Day 11 Channel crossing and home.
