Day 1 Fly from the UK to Porto. Then transfer to the hotel with guide assistance.
Day 2 A guided morning walking tour through the historical area and city centre. Visit to the former Stock Exchange Palace. Afternoon visit to the wine cellars.
Day 3 Excursion to Aveiro. Known as the 'Portuguese Venice', the city is dominated by the Ria de Aveiro, that can be navigated by boarding a moliceiro and floating along the canals of the lagoon. The Art Nouveau houses decorate the banks and can be seen closely on foot. Afternoon visit to a salt producer.
Day 4 Depart for Viseu and visit to the city’s historic centre. Continue to Covilhã and check-in.
Day 5 Excursion to Fundão, meeting with a local guide for a full day visiting an artisan potter, olive oil producer, a cheesemaker with tasting experiences of wine, olive oil and DOP cheeses.
Day 6 Depart for Seia and visit to the Bread Museum. Afternoon visit to the Schist Villages. Geographically this area stands out within Portugal, the hills forming a horizon to horizon 'sea of mountains'. Continue to Coimbra and check-in.
Day 7 Visit to Coimbra before lunch. Then transfer to the airport.
