Banneux and Belgium

In the winter of 1933, a young girl named Mariette Beco reported that the Virgin Mary appeared to her on eight separate occasions. After the apparitions, many healing miracles associated with the spring at Banneux were reported and as a result it became a place of pilgrimage.
