Day 1 Fly to Boston and transfer to the hotel. Gather for a welcome dinner served in America's oldest and John F. Kennedy's favourite restaurant, the Union Oyster House.

Day 2 Join a local guide and embark on a Boston Highlights/Freedom Trail City Tour ending at the historic Faneuil Hall and Quincy Marketplace in time to explore the shops, street vendors' carts and historical architecture, and to have lunch independently at one of the many eateries that surround the marketplace. The remainder of the afternoon and evening is at leisure to explore Boston.

Day 3 Travel to Salem, MA, for a guided tour of the House of Seven Gables and then of the Witches Museum. Explore Pickering Wharf, an exciting harbourside marketplace filled with boutiques and shops. Witness the Friendship, a reconstruction of a 171 foot three-mast Salem East Indiaman, built in 1797. Depart Salem and head for the Strawbery Banke Museum, one of the country's oldest waterfront neighbourhoods. This 10 acre living history museum has preserved the lifestyles and traditions of four centuries of New Englanders. Next is the photogenic Cape Neddick's 'Nubble' Lighthouse and a stop at Stonewall Kitchens specialty food shop. This evening gather for a traditional New England Lobster Bake. Take in the magnificent views at this lovely restaurant that sits on the ocean's edge.

Day 4 Before departing Maine, visit the quaint town of Kennebunkport. Board the morning trolley for a 45 minute narrated sightseeing tour. Late afternoon, arrive in New Hampshire amongst the majestic beauty of the White Mountains.

Day 5 Travel to Morse Farm Sugarworks, a traditional Vermont Maple Sugar Farm. Gather around for a 'sugar on snow party'. The 'Sound of Music' resonates when you walk through the doors at the renowned Trapp Family Lodge. Enjoy an included lunch followed by an afternoon history tour. Only if you dare, visit Emily's Haunted Bridge. This 1800s covered bridge carries a sadly haunting story of a jilted young woman. Finally, visit Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream Factory where a scoop of 'Vermont's Finest' is a must.

Day 6 Travel to Franconia Notch State Park, a spectacular mountain pass traversed by a unique parkway. Climb aboard the aerial tramway and soar to the summit of Cannon Mountain. Travel along the spectacular Kancamagus Highway, a scenic drive that is known as one of the best fall foliage viewing areas in the country. Visit the quintessential New England village of Conway. Travel to Squam Lake, where the movie 'On Golden Pond' was filmed. Next, visit The Old Country Store and Museum, among the oldest surviving businesses in the country.

Day 7 Visit New Haven, CT for an included lunch at Louis' Lunch, home of the American Hamburger Sandwich. Then travel to New York City, arriving late afternoon, and become immersed in the culture of the city with dinner in a traditional NY Deli.

Day 8 Join a local, New York City guide for a New York City Highlights Tour. The remainder of the day and evening are yours to explore the city on your own. Your guide will recommend 'must see' destinations and great places to dine.

Day 9 A full day for independent sightseeing in New York. Ask us about Broadway Shows for an unforgettable evening!

Day 10 & 11 More time to enjoy New York before a transfer to the airport for the overnight flight home.
