Day 1 Travel to your hotel in Eastbourne where tea/coffee on arrival awaits.
Day 2 Travel east along the Sussex Heritage Coast to Beachy Head, the UK's highest chalk sea cliff. On then to Seaford and Newhaven before arriving in Brighton for time at leisure. Originally a fishing village, Brighton is now a vibrant city with a cosmopolitan air. See the Royal Pavilion; the spectacular seaside palace of Prince Regent (George IV) and the famous Brighton Pier (admission can be arranged at an additional cost).
Day 3 Visit the charming market town of Battle, which took its name from the famous Battle of Hastings. On then to the flourishing market town of Rye, whose rich history is very much in evidence. This afternoon, travel to Hastings, home to the remains of the first castle in England to be built by William the Conqueror. Finally, on to the timeless Edwardian seaside town of Bexhill on Sea which is also the birthplace of British motor racing.
Day 4 At leisure in Eastbourne.
Day 5 Homeward journey.
