Day 1 Travel to the hotel in Middlesex.
Day 2 A morning visit to Windsor Castle. As an official residence of His Majesty the King, it is very much a working palace, used regularly for ceremonial occasions. Visitors will be treated to an audio tour introduced by the Prince of Wales taking them through the castle precincts, state apartments and St. Georges Chapel. Complete the day following time at leisure in Windsor with an enjoyable river cruise where the castle will be seen from a different perspective.
Day 3 Visit the magnificent Royal Botanic Gardens Kew and explore the glasshouses, landscapes and over 250 years of history within London's only 300 acre UNESCO World Heritage Site. A guided tour of the gardens can be arranged at an additional cost. This afternoon is free for shopping and sightseeing in the pretty borough of Richmond upon Thames with its boutiques, galleries and riverside walks.
Day 4 Homeward journey.
It is possible to extend this tour to include a visit to the Royal Hospital in Chelsea, where a guided tour can be provided by a Chelsea Pensioner. Further details are available on request.
