Day 1 Travel to the hotel in Northamptonshire with a recommended stop at the delightful Rockingham Castle.
Day 2 After breakfast, visit the charming university city of Cambridge with its pretty streets, historic market place and the majestic architecture of the Cambridge Colleges. Continue to the Imperial War Museum at Duxford, one of the finest examples of a wartime airfield with a wide variety of aircraft and seafaring vessels.
Day 3 Perhaps the highlight of the tour, enjoy a visit to Bletchley Park National Codes Centre. With a variety of activities and exhibitions including the Victorian Mansion that was home to intelligence staff during the war, the outstanding Churchill Collection and, of course, the famous Enigma Machines. There is more than enough to occupy and enthral visitors for a full day at Bletchley Park. Alternatively, a visit to the Shuttleworth Collection at Biggleswade can be recommended. Day 4 Homeward journey. For those travelling north, we recommend a stop at the market town of Melton Mowbray or a cruise on Rutland Water.
