Day 1 Travel to Yorkshire and check in at the hotel in the Victorian spa town of Harrogate.
Day 2 This morning is free to explore the delights of Harrogate. We recommend a visit to the famous Betty's Tea Rooms. With its ornate fascia and delicious cakes, Betty's is the perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee. Afterwards, visit the RHS garden at Harlow Carr, which reflects the Yorkshire landscape and is dominated by stone, water and woodland.
Day 3 Travel to Haworth via the Yorkshire Dales National Park with a stop in the charming canal-side village of Kildwick en-route. A Bronte themed guided tour awaits. This afternoon, travel to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Saltaire Village and explore this model industrial village built by Sir Titus Salt in the 19th century to house his employees at Salts Textile Mill. Local costumed characters lead a guided walk bringing the history of this remarkable village to life.
Day 4 Travel to the splendid city of York where we have included a cruise along the River Ouse. This leaves plenty of time in which to enjoy the history and culture of this walled riverside city.
Day 5 Homeward journey with a recommended stop in the traditional market town of Wetherby.
