Day 1 Afternoon ferry crossing to Dublin and overnight hotel.
Day 2 Journey towards Limerick via the ancient town of Birr with its famous castle. Enjoy free time in Limerick before continuing to the hotel.
Day 3 Begin the day at the twin towns of Bailina and Killaloe, which straddle Lough Derg. A relaxing cruise is included with breath-taking views of Counties Clare and Tipperary. On then to the 15th century Bunratty Castle and the collection of cottages and houses which make up the Folk Park. The charming 'Living Village' gives a fascinating insight into life in Ireland during the 19th century.
Day 4 A tour of the breath taking scenery of the Dingle Peninsula. The whole area is rich in ruined fortresses and ancient burial grounds, traditional currach buildings and handicraft centres. Our tour price also includes the services of a local coach and driver today, while your driver has a rest day.
Day 5 A full day starting with a visit to The Foynes Flying Boat Museum, which recalls the era from 1939 to 1945 when Foynes was the centre of the aviation world for air traffic between the US and Europe. Continue with a ferry crossing of the Shannon and follow the coastline to the spectacular Cliffs of Moher, where admission to the Visitor Centre is included. The centre provides superb facilities and panoramic views of the cliffs and Liscannor Bay. Return to Adare via a circular route.
Day 6 Depart Adare after breakfast and head to Dublin for time at leisure before continuing to your overnight hotel.
Day 7 Morning ferry crossing and homeward journey.
