Day 1 Ferry crossing via Cairnryan and on to Buncrana.
Day 2 Enjoy the spectacular scenery of the Inishowen Peninsula today, with its traditional villages and unspoilt beaches. Experience breathtaking views from Malin Head, the most northerly point in Ireland before continuing around the coast for an informative tour of Dunree Fort, an excellent relic of military history with outstanding views across Lough Swilly.
Day 3 A long, but worthwhile day into Northern Ireland for a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Giant's Causeway. Explore the fascinating basalt stone columns left by volcanic eruptions 60 million years ago or, as legend would have it, the stepping stones of the giant Finn McCool! The state of the art visitor centre offers an enhanced visitor experience. Handheld multimedia devices provide a flavour of this history, stories and experiences of the Causeway. During high season, it is possible to include a circular route on this day with a ferry crossing across Lough Foyle. Please contact us for details.
Day 4 Inland this morning to the stunning Glenveagh National Park. Learn about its fascinating history before a shuttle bus to the castle and its renowned Gardens which boast a multitude of exotic plants. Admission to the castle is possible, subject to availability on the day, at an additional cost paid locally. This afternoon, spend time at leisure in Buncrana, Letterkenny or Derry.
