Glencoe, Fort William and the Highlands

Mountains, glens, lochs and wildlife, this tour allows you to take in all that makes Scotland so spectacular. From the valley floor of Glencoe, Scotlands most famous and scenic glen to the Snowgoose Restaurant, 650 metres up Aonach Mor. From the majesty of Scotlands wildlife to the mysteries of Loch Ness. Our base in Fort William allows you to explore it all.

Aonach Mor Gondola • Loch Ness Cruise • Kingussie Wildlife Park • Ben Nevis

Day 1 Journey north to Scotland and an overnight in the Glasgow area.

Day 2 Continue north into dramatic Glencoe, considered by many as one of Britains best drives. Stop en route for an included visit to the Glencoe Visitor Centre to discover more about the landscape, history and wildlife of the area. Onwards to Fort William in the shadow of Ben Nevis.

Day 3 Take the short trip to Glen Nevis for an effortless gondola ride up to 2150ft on the north face of Aonach Mor. Enjoy a stroll to the viewing platforms or relax in the Snowgoose Restaurant before visiting the Mountain Discovery Centre. Scotland is well known for its legends, so today we have included a chance to go Nessie hunting on a Loch Ness Cruise and a visit to the Loch Ness Centre and Exhibition.

Day 4 Enjoy a day at leisure in the highland resort of Fort William. Visit the West Highland Museum, famous for its Jacobite collections or visit the Ben Nevis Distillery on the outskirts of town (additional costs apply).

Day 5 Travel to Kingussie for a visit to the Highland Wildlife Park. A park guide will join the coach to provide information about the fascinating inhabitants including various animals native to Scotland, some of which no longer exist in the wild.

Day 6 Head south to an overnight stop in the borders area.

Day 7 Homeward journey.
