Day 1 Venture north with an overnight stop in the Dumfries area.
Day 2 Continue via Loch Lomond to the highland town of Fort William. Time at leisure before following the 'Road to the Isles', bound for Mallaig. This beautiful scenic route takes in some of the Highlands' best views from sandy beaches to dramatic green woodland and heather moors. Board the late afternoon ferry to Skye.
Day 3 Full day excursion around Skye, travelling via the stunning Cuillin Hills to Dunvegan Castle followed by a stop in the island's main town of Portree.
Day 4 Morning ferry across to the Isle of Harris. Enjoy the beautiful scenery on Harris including the unspoilt beaches of the west coast and the more mountainous north, before arrival in Stornoway for a 2 night stay. Crossing times may vary, depending upon day of travel.
Day 5 A guide will join you today to ensure no sights are missed. They will provide full interpretation on the island's attractions, history and wildlife. See the awesome standing stones of Callanish, the ancient site of Carloway Broch and the Gearrannan Blackhouse Village. Our tour price also includes the services of a local coach and driver today, while your driver has a rest day. If you intend to operate the tour with 2 drivers please let us know so we can amend the price accordingly.
Day 6 Morning free in Stornoway before an afternoon crossing to Ullapool and overnight stop in the Highlands.
Day 7 Homeward journey.
